Newt Gingrich is telling himself anyone who will listen that Obama is such a bad president that the GOP will capture the African-American vote in 2012.
But conservative commentator David Frum asks: “… how would a platform of tighter money, big benefit cuts, and upper-income tax cuts appeal to hard-pressed voters, African-Americans being some of the hardest-pressed of all?”
Turns out, Florida governor Rick Scott’s unpopularity is making voters think twice about whether to support a Republican for the presidency in 2012.

Laws are being passed in Republican-controlled states, counties and districts in the name of preventing voter fraud — not really a huge problem — but which actually work to control WHO gets to vote. Specifically, groups of people who helped get Barack Obama into office.
